The Rotaract Club of New Amsterdam feted 91 students on Sunday on the RepublicPresents are distributed to the children at the partyBank tarmac as part of its community service during this Christmas season.According to Sunita Samaroo,Jon Casey Jersey, Community Service Director of Rotaract New Amsterdam,Ron Duguay Rangers Jersey, the initiative commenced a few months ago whereby one person from a selected community sponsored a child from that community.The sponsor pledged to take care of the child and provide whatever the child would have needed for school,Baltimore Orioles Eddie Murray Jersey, etc. The children were selected from New Amsterdam,Chile Jersey, business- minded persons and other areas in Berbice.The children at the party came from various orphanages,Boston Red Sox Clay Buchholz Jersey, Angoy’s Avenue,Adrian Beltre Rangers Jersey, Street children,Michael Taylor Nationals Jersey, Canje and Vryheid. Children were given presents and lunch. They also danced to the music provided.
